Over the last few days I've found myself idly wondering what Collins might have on Key. Just idly wondering, let me emphasise.

Manipulation of the media [......] shows poor leadership
Seems to me there's also been a massive leadership fail in the media. I have not been surprised by any of these revelations, we've all been seeing the signs clearly for quite some time now, even discussing them hereabouts. With apologies to Nicky Hager*, it's actually a bit disappointing that this news has come out this late in this way.
*Because although I haven't read any of his books, I think he's a superb journalist and we need more like him and Jon Stephenson.
Oh, and as an aside: Are we seeing the NZ version of a "50 cent gang" popping up around these threads?

Based on the email quoted in this thread? No. Methinks she doth protest far too much. It definitely smells like fantasyland empty boasting.

In short, Hager is credible. It is thus Key's credibility against Hager's.
