The conversation ebbs & flows on PAS are some of the best things about visiting. (as well as the initial posts). I mostly lurk - pop back every now & then during the day to check up on the comments. Wonderful - breaks up the dreary work day.

I get compliments on my coat too. It's vintage, dark purple with a (hopefully) faux fur collar, teamed with my grandmother-in-law's pink diamante & pearl brooch.
Stands out in a sea of black & charcoal grey. -

You end up with queues of passengers along side the cargo sheds waiting to clear Customs/Immigration
Could the passengers not be transferred in a "sealed bus" from airport to boat without going through customs?
When I worked for Customs (back in the 80's) an officer would be transferred out to the boat once it crossed our territorial waters - 12mile or so - & process the passengers on board, so that it was all complete before the ship docked. Not sure if this is still the practice, but would make sense to re-instate if it's not.

We (luckily) made it to The Neighbourhood bar early -8ish? & it was already packed. Got a spot by the bar next to the blogger from The Standard. Loads of fun, although the catcalls, cheers & boos made a lot of the responses hard to hear.

Yes you'd think so - but hubby has only seen John Boscowan on the buses & trains so far & he travels by train from Mt Albert to the city most days.

Quite. We have seen many Labour & National minions at various intersections, waving ribbons & placards over the past month (even inthe pouring rain) and have seen John Boscowan at the local Pak 'n Save.
But not a Green to be seen..... -
Why not reinstate Worth? There's been no trial, no conviction. Naughty messages to one's girlfriend is embarrassing for leaders, but hardly a crime.
