We'll find something else to talk about, how do you feel about Jeremy Clarkson? I hate him.
The funny thing is that Clarkson is a nerd pretending to be a jock. Dude is overcompensating.
Hell, I'm a classical history trained ex-librarian computer nerd who loves rugby and league and West Ham Utd. So obviously I can't relate to your post at all.. :)

Pff, pay for your banjo strings by selling P, that's what we do.
Then what would we feed our children? The roadkill's for romancin'

(Do you reckon it's going to cost $1400 to watch my rugby heroes clash with Bolivia?)
Better not be. $1400 is the average annual income down here and we need any spare change for new banjo strings :)

i quite like late kickoffs myself. fewer clashes with what my wife watches on tv, and my daughter probably in bed by then.
I'm with you Edward, kids in bed and a couple of extra hours of bangin' beats to get me in the mood for a little mano a mano confrontation.

Loving the fact Nelson gets two games and we get Italy! How about a Nelson visit Giovanni? We can watch the Azurri kick Bolivia's arse or something.

France is a wealthy country with good wages, working conditions and welfare benefits.
And cheese. Honestly I cannot get over how average-to-awful cheese is in New Zealand.
And great red wine for $5-$6 a bottle. And a load of things. France rocks quite frankly, even their hiphop isn't too bad nowadays if you look hard enough...

I think Jimmy Carr sorted out the missionary problem quite nicely yesterday. When asked whether he'd ever really pondered the important questions of life he replied "Money over bitches?"
Jimmy's been ripping Twitter up this week.

Hey, you enjoy it, it's nice to see our feeder club have a good weekend every now and again :P
I thought Spurs had become their own feeder club? :-)

The thing is, in India cricket is totally rock'n'roll and these guys are loved and loathed with all the fervour of your favourite/most hated bands. That's why I love it when we play cricket against India, they are like the purest expression of the game, like Brazil in football or the All Blacks in rugby. They may not always be number 1 but they are never less than an honour to have around.
Hey, I'm in a good mood, the Hammers won and Spurs lost last night, Mondays just don't get any better than that :-)

It's not that I think pop is a lousy artform that can't aspire to more than bubblegum, it's just that I find Lily Allen's stuff to be adequate entertaining pop, rather than genuinely standout, that's all.
She's a great lyricist, genuinely funny, witty and entertaining with the right mix of harshness to keep the bro's (even her Dad) on notice. One of the things I like about her is the subtle nod towards 1980 era Two Tone.
Having said that, the first tune I heard from her was LDN and i don't think she's bettered it IMO.
