IMHO Key and Banks come across as cringe worthy and asinine.
As a nation we need to find something for people like Banks, Peters and Brash to do in their twilight years that does not involve national politics.

The double stupidity is that firstly Mr Dot Com gets to buy his way in albeit with $10 million in bonds (so do all people purchasing NZ Bonds at a set amount get residency?) and secondly the arrest for the FBI and application for extradition – it is a double own goal for NZ.
With regard the investment class – to my mind someone investing in NZ is someone who comes here with a plan to set up a business one that creates jobs, produces something in NZ and adds to the economy. Residency obtained under the investment class is contingent in them actually doing that thing – setting up the business.
I can’t stand it when the media call Mr Key and Mr Fay and others businessmen/people – they are not what I call businessmen/people.

I would say he has too much in the game to not want to fight all of this and try to win.

NZ will have become a “bananed republic” if the application for extradition is a success.
I would suggest that the application was submitted in draft form for consideration of the Courts to see if it would be accepted and matter progressed from that point as it did.
After a deemed appropriate time to consider the issue has passed I feel Mr Dot Com and friends will sadly be on a plane to the good old USA.
The peril of innovation and making a fortune that does not involve paying children to make devices for less than 0.50c an hour.

you bounce your balls up and down and then todd them into a basket
The “s” being right next to the “d”, yes it is a Dexterous slip rather than Freudian - my fingers are just so big and my mind is well in a word addled, it should be
“You bounce your balls up and down, toss them into a basket and you score”.
That is basketball and that is so Rock N Roll.

At the Takapuna Ball, while the support band were playing, there were fisticuffs between hangers on back stage.

He also played Logan Campbell on the 19th Jan 1985 - the Chills were support. - we had eight tickets and two people didn't make it - we gave two tickets away, free, just before going into see Lou. I missed the Chills. Got there in a 1964 Morris Oxford that was overheating after doing a round trip, which involved the Bullock Track, picking up the other 5.
