I hope those aren't too upsetting, Hebe. I was wondering when and where I should share some of my Christchurch photos. I have lovely ones of the Botanic Gardens and of the city centre from a number of holidays previous to 2010. And then some from when I went last year. Those were taken surreptitiously from a car as we went past because I didn't want to be so blatant about it. I just wanted a record for myself, to garner some understanding, which of course, not living down there, I can not even get close to coming to. In the meantime, I send hugs. Great big embracing ones.

I had not. But we have been doing mat training, and that has worked wonderfully so far. TBH, puppies they are the hard work. Not as hard as children, but then childrens' antisocial behaviour is tolerated, and let's face it, if a child barks at a stranger, it doesn't get put on a special list. And if a child bites you, it doesn't get put down. So unfair. <obviously this is said tongue in cheek - mostly>

Well, so much for getting out and about in the sunshine. I'm afraid that I am stuck inside with a puppy that goes beserk everytime someone knocks at the door. Which is infrequently. Hence the beserk. We are using various methods to train her out of this behaviour - a behaviour that only occurs in the house, it has to be said, not outside of the house. And I have two separate lots of friends coming today. One with teenaged daughters, who are used to cats. So. That's fun, then.
