let alone one that was awesome and memorable
Damn you Robyn, that's the last time I invite you to my house for a game of Trinominoes, the "game of the year" in Germany in 1987!
My bestest party ever was when I was ten, when we dressed as pirates and took the Eastbourne ferry over for a treasure hunt on the beach. Of course, my father had made the treasure maps, and while they looked very authentic, his 6'3" paces were rather different from ours and it took a bloody long time to find the loot.
Dressing up as pirates last year for drunken Pirate Mini Golf as part of Caribbean Country Club was almost as much fun, but much more buxom. The keg stands at the Frat Party for America were also fun. And for random drug experiences, chasing someone who had a candle around an orchard somewhere out in West Auckland through waist deep grass and blackberry was pretty damn rad.

I don't know if it's a gripe, so much as the element of consent being so dubious.
Yeah, if I was going to complain about trends in porn not being to my taste I would start by focusing on the fake nails that the actresses wear - surely they're dangerous as well as just being ugly! But no, my problem was about drunk college girls getting filmed, not actresses getting paid to follow a script. I hope you can see the difference.

My daughter and I had an interesting debate on why Emo is banned from her school. She was for the ban, and me, well you know, I remembered Goths...
Emo is banned? Realllllllllly? Who exactly sets the definition?

I'm really uncomfortable with what seems like a growth in the "girls gone wild" type porn, when there's a pack mentality and also lots of booze involved. That seems pretty borderline consentual when the girls are often about to pass out.

I miss the waffles at the old Mezze in Auckland, the ones served with Chorizo, roast apples and possibly bacon as well...

I'm going to go with the defensive quibbles thanks. And the thing with big issues is that they're actually made up of the small stuff.

Joan Jett, who wrote one of Britney's biggest songs.....
"I wanted to cover 'I Love Rock'n Roll' because I was a big fan of Pat Benetar growing up". Heh. Poor Britney. First 'Cry me a river' and now JT's new song. That's just cruel. All she wanted was a dick in a box.

But I don't have a blog. Perhaps it is your reading that is at fault here, not the writing of other people...

Joanna: I am particuarly referring to Communications grads
You're right, my mind is not sharp at all. Actually, women only go to university to find husbands, so I suppose in that capacity AUT failed me.

(Three year courses at AUT do not seem to produce sharp or courageous minds..
In general or are you specifically talking about journalists who graduated from AUT?
