While I commiserate for your condition, I can't but help think you are gaming the system

So we can assume independent foreign journalists do not qualify for a discount? If so, do you have any plans for remedying this situation?

  • Cracker: LOL,

Actually Kan was one of the comics that I found repeating material, or at least so it seemed to me on the second and third time I saw him (in Dunedin back in the day). Haven't heard him since, mainly because I didn't want to risk hearing the material again.

For some reason I've had this discussion many a time - in my set "emo" is deemed to be an insult or a put down, no doubt due to us all having spent far too much time lazing about on the internet. I've never actually met a real emo, although I've known many goths, and frankly I think i prefer goths, no doubt due to my natural conservatism.

Anyway, if you want to see how deep this argument (insult vs. subculture) check out the Wikipedia Emo talk pages.

I wonder if your seditious global warming discussion is what got publicaaddress.net blocked in China?

  • Cracker: LOL,

I know a few guys who do stand up regularly in NZ and they are pretty much all just doing it on the side, so perhaps that could be reason why new material isn't as regular as we'd like. Besides, writing comedy material (admittedly not stand up) can take time.

Oh and Pickering is pretty good, definitely the highlight for me for 2006's season

Russell, did you use visual props?

Like say an ipod, an axe and a large sad face?

So let me get this straight, a few of you don't like Subway because they offer you the option to customise your sandwhich? You are angry a fast food restaurant tries to pander to your tastes?

Are your gold boots too tight as well?

I've always found inner city Christchurch at night to have a pretty weirdly violent vibe which is one of the reasons I've never lived there. Although I was impressed by some of the new restaurants and bars around those side streets of Lichfield St.

Christchurch often complains that the inner city shopping district has been killed by the suburban malls, but when it comes to drinking the inner city dominates. Kind of perverse really.
