It was a mere trifle after all. ;-)
Definitely not meh!. Drenched in Cointreau and smothered in chocolate flakes, cause for great merri-ment. Gracias.

I like to think there is both a side and front face in the clouds in front of the sun.
Great sky Sofie. Very intense looking cloud citizens, with those furrowed brows. I see another one right of centre, kind of like the Wizard of Oz lion.

Laughing at myself. It even says how to do italics in them there instructions. Back to the alcohol soaked trifle!

Hard News: Merry Christmas, Blossoms, in reply to
Won't someone think of the poor South Islanders and inland North Islanders who can't enjoy pohutukawa in full bloom?
Robyn, we expats feel the pain too. This is the best I could find here in small town Oz... a saturnalian celebration for my homesickness.
I'm more Pogues than Rudolf this time of year, but thanks all for the warm welcome to PA. I was '1 post' a month ago and JP and friends on Capture have been downright friendly. That ol' kiwi hospitality doing its magic thing. Have a great Christmas, you talented bunch of writerly folk. tis a good thing you are making here.

maybe a Datsun 240z, or similar
Pedantry appreciated. I'm thinking that I didn't even look at the car, just saw the shadow.

Gorgeous old fire trucks Ian. The red seems redder than today's engines.
I've been driving my car differently since looking through this thread... a greater sense of freedom, more retro with the music, more patience with the road fools. Thinking about how most of the cars shown here were driven without seat belts and how peeps paid cash for a lump of metal that expressed who they were rather than trailing an HP balloon of debt on something reliable...
A porsche, I think.
