I missed the bit where I was supposed to be going to a test (what day?)
Well, i'll be there tomorrow. Weather permitting.
-
A day of test cricket will do him good too.
I reckon. Failing that, look for a girl with curly hair, loudly bemoaning Shane Bond's brokenness.
-
And McCaw. What a freak.
So it wasn't just that they let us play.
Thank you Russell. There were some brilliant individual performances in that match, and it was really fun to watch. I'm going to stop complaining now until next season.
And is this the first time we've ever won rugby and cricket tests on the same day?
Speaking of cricket, is anyone going to be there this week? I'll be there on Thursday.

I must say that it was wonderful to finally put faces to names that I've known for years: Stephen Judd, Rob Hosking, Robyn Gallagher, Giovanni Tiso, Lyndon Hood, and Graeme Edgeler -- to name but six of the most drunken attendees.
You don't know how much it pleases me that I am not on that list.
And David, what the others said, the story was fabulous, and delivered with great composure.
And Bob the Baby's cameo was utterly adorable.

Words cannot express how sorry I am that my particuar brand of magic - my ability as a Ferry Godmother, shall we say, only works face to face.
Have you done extensive testing to prove that theory, though?

The Don Abel thing...loved it. I doubt that in any other country someone holding a position like Assistant Reserve Bank governor would come along to an event like that.
When he introduced himself to me and Robyn by saying "Hello, I'm Don Abel, I'm from the Reserve Bank", I believe I blurted out "Whatever, you are not." And then when he said he was an assistant governor, I may have done it again.
Seriously, coolest thing ever.
I was up at 8am, Still. I blame Megan.
From my Twitter profile:
I blame @ghetsuhm for anything that happens henceforth
2:56 AM Nov 28thYep, totally @ghetsuhm's fault.
6:33 AM Nov 28thSo it cannot possibly be my fault.

And, once again, if I may be so bold, if you are brave enough to go up and say hello, you will be meeting one of the sweetest people. EVAH.
You don't even need to be brave. She's not that scary

I don't think you'll be able to hear me from down there. Or at least, not before they throw Megan and Jo in with me.
I can't think of another two women I'd be so happy to share a cell with!
must...resist....smut....
On the Parliament security, I used to visit a friend, quite often, who worked on, shall we say, an upper floor of the Beehive. The security guards used to just wave me up there all the time. I guess I don't look like someone who might be carrying anything dangerous. Or who might accidentally go wandering into offices, because she's fecking nosey...

I don't understand most of the gaming stuff you guys are all talking about but would like to reiterate:
And I should note that PAS is about the least aggravating and damaging environment for these conversations that I've ever run across.
I described the "Does my Mortgage look like a Slag in This" thread as "the most fun I've had on the internet". I mean, it was aggravating as all hell, but there were also all these lovely people there, and even if I disagreed with them, I knew they weren't attacking me personally.
Unlike that list which makes me indescribably sad.

All Blacks fans no longer get excited (though they might get drunk, which has some similar symptoms
No offence, but: Bollocks. I get plenty excited.
