Thanks for outlining this issue with such clarity.
The modifications proposed are in response to the Mosque shootings, but, ironically, wouldn't there be a case to prosecute anyone who published some Islamic religious texts, I'm thinking specifically of what they say about homosexuals.
See: https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Qur%27an,_Hadith_and_Scholars:HomosexualityThey would seem to contravene Section 131 of the Human Rights Act you outlined above, if those rights were extended to gay communities.

Yes, even for a fellow exCantabrian, last Saturday afternoon was really enjoyable. Well done ARU.

I always see government initiatives like this in terms of privatisations.
When did Unitec acquire the land from what must have been government owned Oakley and Carrington Hospitals?
Why can't communally owned land remain owned by the community? -
Well 20 days later and I wanted to check whether this new story in the Herald was about the same guy, Ron Hoy Fong. Sure enough.
Auckland property investors urged to target deceased estates, 'dummies' and divorcees. -
That media coverage of the PolyFest was terrible. I wonder if the journalist involved have ever been to the event. Let alone seen the diligence, discipline and hard-work taken by the organisers, performers and supporters to create that event.
Those media companies are the ones guilty of beating up on people. -
Lourde releasing another track just before "Friday Music" comes out ... coincidence?
The song is OK but I prefer Vivaldi's original. -
Why did National not stand a candidate? Did they hope that this would split the Labour and Green parties? (FAIL) ... Or did they think Melissa Lee was just not a very good candidate?
-
Russell said "National probably made the right call when it declined to contest the Mount Albert by-election". But I'm not so sure.
4,000 National Party voters probably voted for Shearer at the last election...
About 10% of the electorate.
Will these National voters again like the calibre of the Labour candidate?
And if so, will they continue to endorse Jacinda over Melissa Lee at the General Election?
If Labour romps home at this by-election... Well no wonder National were running scared. -
Well done to all the winners, but I've just noticed that the "publicaddress.net" domain name is registered to a Mr Russelski Brownovich in Skopje, Macedonia. When he asked you for your postal address and credit card details...Well...
