  • Speaker: It's On,

I’ve seen the expression “the zenith of bravery, or the nadir of stupidity?” used on more than one occasion so I thought the nadir of selfishness was OK.

Happy to be proved wrong though.

cctrfred, If Justin had gone off injured as he should have after that tackle, we would still have had a chance.

But oh no, he couldn't depart the big stage so easily, people were watching, and he was a passenger for the next 30 minutes as Aussie took full advantage.

    The nadir of selfishness.

Che, You think the French might’ve started something they just couldn’t finish? That would paint a vulgar picture.

Keeping with the Smiths theme, perhaps last night Meg dreamt that someone loved him. Just another false alarm.

The tournament starts tomorrow morning (Fra – Arg) not with the All Black game.

For the next month (pool play) there are bugger all possibilities for upsets, and tomorrow morning is one of them. And yes, the French will do that pageantry stuff well.

DC, that is surprising about Neeson’s billboard.

Tom B; the girl who parks it after getting out of the cab is my favourite.

Interestingly, it is her “twin” who is the most annoying of the lot.

All this makes one kind of nostalgic for that 1984 – 87 Lange government. All that talent , all the excitement, and all that bitchiness.

Even the really boring ones like Palmer, Shirley and Dunne inadvertently went on to add some political spice later on.

The sanctimonious nature of everyone in that ALAC ad is enough to drive anyone to drink.
