Cycling in the misty rain of Christchurch yestie I was over taken by a jogger - oh the shame.
Does the Auckland City ad "Big - Little City" cyclist wear a helmet or hat? I can't tell & do tend to cycle at a similar speed.

I'm no theologian and I disagree with a few issues the Church Teaches. For me the value of religion is in communion and the teachings of the gospels, social justice etc.
Catholicism refecting the society of its day, being Arostocratic in its design, doesn't fit well with me. Kind of like the Sallys and their Army structure doesn't either. I am however very happy in the republican/egalitarian Irish Catholic Tradition I grew up in. Quite happy with the work of JPII & Leo Tolstoy wrote a nice book or two as well.
Benny seems to be pretty keen to get the Mel Gibson lot back into the fold and doesn't build bridges as well as JPII did.

John Key has said the only sensible thing on Rankins personal issues. That being a polite "STFU Christine", but of course only after Christine spoke on TV.
If her ego doesn't sabotage it, she'll serve the minimum time & Bennetts decisions will be vetted from here on in. -
Many of my family scared me with their anti-Barnett statements. These were of course the 1970s Feminists totally opposed to legal prostitution. Taking an initial open approach to age didn't help matters either.

Thinking back on the Rankin & Religion article about her being excluded from her kids first holy communion. All parents are, it's about the kids not her, ... now I get it.
