Nice to hear that my complaint to the editor added to the avalanche. Shows it is worth doing.

In my experience bullies are often angry and frightened as there is a scared little child in there who (for a variety of reasons) never learned appropriate social skills or behaviour, so they don't know how to make friends or influence people any other way. If I was a good humanist I would look past the behaviour and respect that there is a human underneath trying to get out, but sometimes it is hard.
Btw I am finding Kracklite just a little threatening. Perhaps he should stop attacking me and concentrate on forming a Kracklite Party to contest the general election.

Just a reflection. When I first came across the US autism hate websites, I couldn't really believe that they would/could exist. Reflecting on Laws, I realise those views are here in our midst. Why is he so angry and frightened?

Chernobyl happened in April 1986 and in Feb 1987 my five year old in NZ was diagnosed with leukaemia. I just don't trust fall out maps, sorry. I don't know what caused her illness, but I know some people are more susceptible than others to radioactivity, environmental toxins or whatever, and we are all interconnected on the planet. So I don't trust nuclear power anywhere.

I am one of those people that the SST targets as a potential subscriber and I get free offers of papers from time to time, including at the moment. The last two feature Michael Laws at his ugliest, so hardly any inducement to subscribe.

I think the Minister's reaction was to the NZ Herald report quoting her which was repeated on the first page of this thread by George Darroch and others. That was before John Greally entered the conversation here.
