How on earth do you find stuff in 100 tabs? I find it's getting cluttered over about 5. If I find anything I expect to need to refer to I favourite it (in Google, so I can see it from home/work).

What is it that people are doing with their javascripts that need so much speed?
AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) - applications like GMail and Google Docs that run various forms of editor and the like in the local browser.
This wasn't really anticipated when Javascript was invented.

It's interesting that Apple have ceased naming their OSs after German tanks and moved to a Russian one:
Snow Leopard -
In some ways I think Javascript is inherently a bit ropey for creating AJAX websites. Maybe what's really needed is a built-in (as opposed to integrated through Flash/Sliverlight/whatever) IL interpreter that runs instructions compiled from whatever implementation tools were used to make the site.
Also, and this is much easier, it would be good if when browsers were to save biggish blocks of text as you type, so that in the event of a stuff-up, you could recall your typing.

Thanks!
I forgot I wrote that...

NO LONGER ON FREE TO AIR TV!
So you now have to pay to watch an extended promotional film for the movie industry?
They're bloody clever, those media companies. I'm surprised they find it so hard to make money...

All computer dialogs, especially Virus Detected or Access Denied are displayed full screen.

You can send IP packets with any source address, but a well configured router will reject them. You won't of course get any packets back, so like Ben says, it's no good for messages that are longer than 1500 bytes or require a reply.
I'm unconvinced you could register as a torrent host that way.
BitTorrent encryption is a different beast, but does run into the issue of how you share keys between host and downloader.

I'd suggest that keeping on top of the numbers is job #1. Too many business people I've encountered have a poetic approach to finance - this seems to be particularly prevalant amongst salespeople.
Fixed costs (rent and other commitments) have got to be a major problem if income isn't up to expectations. Getting out of those has to be the way to go.
I'd guess that for 99% of independent NZ internet businesses there are no intrinsic scale limits before the firm is no longer viable, so in the absence of fixed costs one can downsize to the point where the firm is costing a few hundred dollars in hosting plus a couple of hours a day of maintenance. Of course one might question what the point is at that stage?
Mind you, I have this nagging feeling that those who do really well in business *are* the ones who don't take a sensible approach and plough on regardless. 99% of these people go bust. 1% get lucky and are venerated as business gods.

Why so uncommunicatively (?) long?
Disney made a lot of classic films and bought the rights to various books, like Winnie The Pooh, starting in the 1930's. With a 75 year (or 50 years after the author's death for the book rights) copyright term, these would now have expired and thus their movies would be in the public domain.
Disney, as a large corporation and owner of the ABC TV network, was able to pressure the US Congress into extending copyright terms.
