Islander i would recommend a Maine Coon to anyone. Known for their loyalty to the one who loves them most (you) they will be friendly to other beings but will select their chosen one to spend most of their time. They are adorable little kittens , they turn into very handsome looking animals and do most of the grooming themselves. A lovely soft coat to pet and just a constant delight. The sound they make is like a short birdlike call as in 'brbrbr' when they meet you. Other than that, they are quiet.

Nora , he loved sitting in the driveway looking at birds for ages. Did not kill any but was a good hunter by presenting rats and mice. Such a generous little companion. Sadly missed . Gone to kitty cat heaven in 2005.

Steve this is our cat Amadeus , a Maine Coon as a kitten. He was born a twin to a short haired tabby we called Wolfgang.

So this must be in Australia then? Have not seen Jacaranda Trees anywhere in this country. Or do they grow up north?

Milk powder could be used in gardening projects. Tomatoes do very well if given milk powder into the spot where you plant it. Seems to enhance the cellular structure or some such. Heard it on the 'rado' so it must be true. I believe it has something to do with calcium. Amen

David i love those fluffy ones. I too notices some on the pond in the botanic garden. As in my case i wanted a decent shot of the moon and got something else instead. It seems how life goes.
