  • Emma Hart,

    Emma’s rack is even bigger!

    It's this dress.

But yes, slightly bigger gravatars, nice.

  • Kyle Matthews,

from the from page of system, how do you go to the last page of the discussion, rather than the front page?

Also, no navigation through the system pages at the top of the page? That's where you end up when you click through!

  • Emma Hart, in reply to Kyle Matthews,

The "last post by" is still there, in small print under the name of the thread, and it's a link to the last comment.

But yes, I do miss system page navigation at both top and bottom of pages.

  • Joanna,

I can see all my old comments now! This makes me want to get drunk and comment randomly all over the place and forget where I put things as usual - and then be able to see what I did in the morning. Hurrah!

  • Julian Melville,

Overall I like the new look, but the post heading and people's-names font is really pixellated and nasty looking here (Windows Vista, latest Firefox) and there's something extremely dodgy going on with the line spacing in this text box - the tops of several letters are being clipped.

  • Crunchy Weta,

+The all in oneness is great. The new features too.
    - The text in some banners (eg Hard News, public Address ) is a bit too close to the borders of the background, perhaps centring it a little better . It looks chopped off.

  • Julian Melville,

Ah OK, ta Ben, disabling Typekit has made things a hell of a lot better font-wise.

  • paul travers-jones,

I simply ADORE what you've done with the place! It's simply gorgeous!
Nothing like a bit of re-imaging now and again....a change as is good as a holiday as they say.
Actually, I couldn't really give a stuff about the new "image" - the substance is just as good or bad as it ever was - with one exception. It's easier to read.

  • Che Tibby,

unfortunately, i’m with Ben. the font looks awful in my browser (firefox on window).

    bye bye typekit.

the sickly yellow rectangles are where adblocker is working, right?

    and that's all my gripes!!

    for now. heh.

  • Simon Bennett,

Looks nice. I miss the 'last post' that takes you straight away to the most recent post. As it is now, I have to scroll to the bottom of the first page before I can click the 'last' button.

  • B Jones,

Crappo. Now someone can easily collate all the previous rubbish you’ve written and laugh at all your posts going way back :-P Not sure if I like all this accountability…

There is a last post button on the front page, it’s just hidden under the text that says who the last post was by.

Disable Typekit is on the bottom right corner of the page.

  • Steve Parks, in reply to Ben Gracewood,

Typekit is a stain on the interwebs

What’s Typekit? (Sorry, can’t be bothered looking up…)

Edit: okay, editing works the same...good...

  • Kyle Matthews,

    Cheers Emma, much better.

there's a bug when you click on someone and it shows all their posts.

Down the bottom you have older newer. Yet the most recent page is actually page 1, so they should be the other way around.

  • Jackie Clark,

What I like about the bigger avatars is that finally I can see the photos some have used for theirs - like Kyles. Love that dog, Kyle!
