No way is the nationwide median house price $500k. It might be that in & around Auckland but not 'down country'.
Not sure how much difference it will make to your figures, but I would hazard a nationwide median price of closer to $375k.

You are confusing 'bearably beerable' with 'leadership'.

lacking genuine leaders who inspire. Goff, Shearer and now Cunliffe are all cut from the same mediocre cloth.
As opposed to the positively Churchillian Mr Key?
You're having a laugh.

There is also the issue of JK having lied about when he knew about Dotcom.
I am looking forward to a big public revelation that the PM has flat-out lied to the nation, repeatedly. The grinning, slick, facile, glib, feculent Prime Minister of our beautiful country. -

Time’s up. Your behaviour is not acceptable
from the Right Honourable (Tui ad tagline) Judith Collins especially piquant.Would that she see the connection and offer herself up as the first proof that the policy might actually work?

As the IM party is not chasing after the (ahem) 'mature voter', I feel it is entirely appropriate that they uploaded the video to social media. That is the forum where their target demographic gets their info and that is exactly the sort of thing that disaffected young people, possibly considering voting for the 1st time, will relate to.
Ergo, uploading it, while distasteful to some of the crustier elements, was appropriate.
IMO, of course.

Seems to me that it is being willfully mis-reported.
Is there really any surprise at the chant arising from a combination of students, alcohol, a function hosted by a political party opposed to John Key, in an area where the National Party has failed to provide adequate leadership in the aftermath of the earthquakes?
Frankly this is pretty much exactly what I would have expected. So the MSM are just sensationalizing it and playing it for maximum effect. The political coverage in Aotearoa's MSM really is puerile. We, the voting public, deserve better.
