A family trip to Tahuna Torea Reserve this morning. Nice walk, and few birds in attendance.

Might have to try focus stacking. There is this amazing update for Canon cameras called Magic Lantern. It is a third party interface that gives way more control over your camera.

Thanks, I’ll take a look. These closer still, but again could be sharper.

And just when I thought I’d done all the raindrop things – i noticed the dandelion seedhead…..

I’m kind of amazed by what you get out of your little camera. It’s like the little compact that could. Not actually totally happy with the sharpness on these. Used a tripod for one of them too.

  • Capture: Two Tales of a City,

Part of Glenn Busch’s excellent ongoing photographic social record The exhibition was made into a book also (the King Family grace the cover) available from Canterbury University Press

One of my prized possessions from Wellington in the late eighties is Glenn Busch’s National Art Gallery book Working Men, linked above. Each image with an, often long, individual statement from the subjects. Incredible historical document, and wonderful portraits.

    More pr0n. ;-)

For as much fun as I have had collecting (and playing) some of this stuff giving it away is a lot of fun too.

Thanks 81st, and absolutely agree. I gave my whole New Order collection to my bro, which included the Murder 12", the 7" of Procession and the white sleeve Fac 33 of Ceremony/In a lonely place, among others.

But you can pry my copies of A Forest and Cult Hero, signed by Porl and Simon, from my cold dead hands.
