If the stereotypes outlined previously in this thread are accurate, I'm wondering why no one has piped up to say "If we lose the Concert programme, where are we going hear our lovely Kiri?".
-
I'm not a regular Concert FM listener but appreciate it being there as an oasis where I can get away from the chatter of commercial radio. Much like we have parks in our cities we need non-commercial spaces in our airwaves.

To get everyone from Eden Park to the waterfront I'm thinking we need a monorail. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEZjzsnPhnw

Mr Slack, what has happened to you? Have you been on the receiving end of a bolt of lightning or a holy hand grenade? No communications from you for a while, we are worried.

... and you don't even have to come to my stupid church or wear a crappy ring of loyalty.
For someone who declares himself so anti-homosexual, I'm still not sure what Brian Tamaki's "First Fruits" scheme was all about.

Half a bee, philosophically, must ipso facto, half not be.....

Clearly there was a missing element in the experiment... you should've considered the effect of music on the bees under such excitation.
Something soothing or ambient but contemporary.
Anything but Sting!

Maybe if you'd rolled in mud, suspended yourself from a balloon and sung a song then the bees might have thought you were little a cloud and not bothered you. I'm sure Bob the baby would have told you this if you'd asked him nicely.

In light of the other news story of the week, maybe they could organise an Undie 500 across Cook Strait.

According to the students it's all the cop's fault. "Turning up in riot gear when we were just having a bit of fun, they provoked us so we had to throw bottles. We were only doing it as a "charity fundraiser" and we did promise we'd behave ourselves after last year. Nobody warned us this would happen, we got arrested and now our futures are ruined. Boo hoo."
Get a grip and get a life.
