It's not really "cricket related" in the same way, but this is mine.
(Especially for Emma)

I suppose after a decade or so of being unbeatable, anyone's interest would start to fray.
I have a suspicion, based on conversations with a couple of aussie mates, that they are catching the rest of the world in thinking their team is a mite arrogant, and it would be nice to see them taken down a peg. And everyone loves an underdog, and a bit of healthy competition.
Having said that, I woudn't mind my interest starting to wane, if it meant one of my teams was successful for a decade or so.

Megan Wegan, These guys are dodgy.
I'm pretty sure that Megan knows that very well by now.
Yeah, I know they are just using me for my scones.

Devonshire teas, anyone
If you're really nice to me, I'll even make scones.

I did spend one game behind a group who spent an innings trying to make Alan Donald cry while he was fielding in front of us.
I might have been one of those people. There's also the infamous 'who ate all the pies', and the incredibly lame, but addictive "give us a wave _insert name here_ give us a wave'.
I presume that, unlike the Stadium, one can bring thermoses into the Basin?
Technically, no, but I'm pretty sure in your linen suit and panama hat, you'll get away with anything.
If Giovanni is bringing the cucumber sandwiches, I'll bring the strawberries and cream.

I've texted at gigs and I'm not ashamed.
Same, although I am beginning to be.
I haven't done it often, but it has usually been to tell someone what they are missing. As in "you couldn't get here, but you would be loving it if you were."

What about his two fours off successive balls? Let's face it, we just want Ntini in our own team.
At, what, about #4?

Yup. I felt kind of cheap for watching the one-dayer just because my side was playing, when there was something like thatgoing on on the next channel.
Two TVs, Mr Brown, two TVs.

So, between a week or so in chch and a week in Sydney, I should get a summer, right?

...so if the win dies down...
To be fair, they are off to a decent start getting the Windies to 35/3.
And @ Paul. I'll be there at the end of Feb. If it weren't so mean, I'd be wishing for it to stay hot until then.
