In other news, EMI makes massive profit (even allowing for one-offs) in era when piracy has destroyed the recording industry..whoops...hasn't made the RIAA media releases this one. And it's before the Fab 4 bonanza coming in the last 1/4 of this year.

Wow, thats low.
Not sure why it's worse than saying they're nuts, implying mental illness. Although for all that it seems to be fairly common phraseology in this part of the world implying they've done something rather bizarre and irrational. And so they have.

I'm finding the whole Twitter thing fascinating, as a new user. I'm not sure it's all good, but it's not all bad either.
Same..it plays to my information junkie impulses. If you fine tune it, it's an incredible flow of data and links. I just make a point of de-following anyone who sends me more than a couple of tweets along the lines of "I'm off to the shops now" or "mmm, that was a great meal"
I'm liking the backlash against it too...makes me think of my dad telling me that this Beatles thing is a nonsense when I was a lad. There was an anti-Twitter rant in the Australian last week which moved into a moan asking why the TV shows nowadays are not as good as Callan.
