Thanks, Russell. That seems to have done the job - let's see if it works now...

  • Capture: Capture One,

Anyone got any idea how I can set the file extension to '.jpg'?

We use Windows7 here and in Explorer, using the 'Details' format, the file is noted as being a 'JPEG image' and it failed to load so I assume it has a ".JPG' extension.

  • Capture: Capture One,

I doubt this will come through as it is shown as baing of JPG type and I can't find how to lower-case the extension...

  • Muse: Indecision '11: Fighting the Grey,

I wasn't condoning the xenophobia some older people have - just empathising (note: not sympathising) about how they may have developed that mind-set.
Myself, I'm more than happy to live in a vibrant multi-racial society - brings out the best in all of us (while still bringing out the worst in a very small minority - yes, Kyle Chapman, I'm talking about you).

Personally, I would prefer to see a little more tolerance for some of these older folks who haven't been brought up in our more enlightened times. Sure, some of their fears and concerns seem silly and maybe racist to our generation, but they shouldn't be discounted or ridiculed like that.

They are from a different time (pre-Boomers) and they are in the minority and they won't be around for too much longer. If they were my grandparents I'd be well pissed-off at you guys' attitudes.
Fair enough, younger people with actively racist ideas and actions need to be nipped in the bud, but these older folks are expressing their personal opinions, not taking up cudgels against asians. Sticks & stones, an' all that.

    Just sayin'.

  • Hard News: The perils of political confidence, in reply to Craig Ranapia,

You might think talking about “average voters” like they’re complete venal idiots – at least when they’re voting the wrong way – is endearing. I don’t.

I clearly indicated I thought Steve was being a bit harsh & gave no indication that I found his characterisation endearing. You're getting to be King of the Straw-Man Argument, putting words/attitudes in that were neither present nor implied.

As long as it's only words you're pushing into other people's mouths, Craig.

Steve may have been a little harsh with his call on 'average voters' but there's no need to make out he was raving like a David Icke.

I'm interested in knowing where the HoS got the special cloaking technology to hide the mic in plain sight. Huge potential security issue there.
