As I was about to leave the carwash, this fellow showed up.
Also means harder for others to grab a photo and reuse it in print elsewhere.
How is that? Resolution?
While we're discussing technicalities, sometimes when I open up a thread to read the latest comments, I get an empty page. Well, almost. The borders are there, perhaps an ad or two down the right, but the space where people's comments should be is empty. Odd GFW thing? Dunno.

Thanks, Russell. That was one of the obvious possible causes. I was also wondering if it was something on the university network, considering my phone doesn't have the same problem, but if I can use IE on my computer, then it ain't the network. Firefox has been giving me trouble of late, but I haven't been able to find anything untoward. It is annoying that it's got into Maxthon, too, because that has been my backup browser. Now to figure out where the ad/malware is hiding and how to get rid of it. Thanks, again.

But I'm having a strange problem with public address: I can access it fine on my phone, both via the wifi at the restaurant where I got lunch and via China mobile, but whether I use Firefox or Maxthon on my computer I get redirected to www.cjb.net. internet explorer works fine - by which I mean only that it will let me open public address - which is most annoying. I still can't persuade chrome to actually do anything.
But like I said, beautiful trees.
