are Son of Cronos and Girl at Night Vacuum-era songs?
I think so, but I'm no expert :)
One thing the night missed though were the keyboards
I half-expected Pete Fryer (who was there too) to get on a keyboard. Missed opportunity!

I think I was sitting just behind the mysterious Willy at one stage. JC was getting close-ups for the doco, with the director/dp getting wider shots. It'd be great to get a 2-3 camera edit and good audio of those two sets. Stephen was in good voice, and 'dirty and disgusting' was an awesome rant :)

Was that you recording these clips, Mike? I should have said hello!
Stephen was great, but the set with Campbell was dynamite :) -
She is a hero.
When I think of heroic New Zealanders, it’s her and Elsie Locke – and maybe Kim Hill.. All women of incredible strength, yet balanced by compassion and rounded out with keen intellect and razor wit. Her passing is a loss for the nation. Her inspiration and example, a great, immeasurable gain. -
Great interview :)

research is now showing – that men are equally likely to be victims of violent female partners.
Without denying this might be the case in terms of violent incidents, isn't it also true that women are vastly more likely to end up in hospital - or worse, the morgue?

Speaker: Christchurch: We're not…, in reply to
Totally with you on the Overton window. It's a safe time to tilt the vote left. I'm also curiously impessed by Raf Manji. He seems seriously at odds with the government on ecan and his pick of the candidates is probably one I'll follow.
A couple of good new council prospects from the Greenish side: Sara Templeton in Heathcote-Sumner-Ferrymead and Chrys Horn in Halswell. Both strong contenders with impressive records of community involvement. -
Thanks for writing this Steven.
The dark brutal side of Kiwi life is largely down to the way our culture has shaped us men. Most of us mostly live with this buried out of sight.
But most of us have at least glimpsed it in the raw and it is ugly and disturbing. The more so because it is ours.
"Harden up" we say. When sometimes we need to be screaming: "soften the fuck up!" -
I didn’t realise uber are so nakedly aiming to eliminate their drivers from the equation.
It seems a bit evil.
