What does it say about me that, I saw the title sequence of the video and read it's name three times before realizing it wasnt "Cheap Slut Serenaders"?
I'm hoping the answer is that it's just a sign I read most posts here at PA and I'm up with the latest trends in feminist re-claiming... right? :)

the $10 fare seems particularly steep.
I agree... but from my reading, that is an all-day pass, not just a single get on/get off ride?
Depending on how many places with nice views, or things to do, or car-parks, and places for feeding/watering, etc. are on the route... You could make a decent half day or more of it? Which doesn't seem quite so bad.

But unless I’ve missed something, there is a very frustrating lack of detail on this point.
Indeed, I nearly commented to that effect in my post...
That said... If the multiple passports is what first piqued the authorities interest... maybe we can infer that it wasn't something as hum-drum as dual citizenship?
-
Surely, if you happen to have dual citizenship, you may well have 2 (or more?) passports... but they'll all be in your name, with your details...
If you have multiple passports that carry your photograph, but have different names and birth places, etc.... that might be a sign you were attempting something less straightforward...

I love the fact people are complaining that boats arent included.... when has a boat EVER gone up in value? Where are all the people getting rich from boat speculation?
dont forget that old joke.... the definition of "boat" is a hole in the water you pour money into...

I think the point of labeling housing as an "unproductive" asset, when clearly, it does indeed provide shelter, which is not just desirable, but actually essential... is the point that investment in "productive assets" produces further income...
If you buy some machinery or plant that makes widgets... it keeps on making widgets, and you can sell them for profit, enhancing the economy (and your pocket)...
A house that increases in value by 20% doesnt provide 20% more shelter... you cant suddenly fit more people in it...
Investing in productive assets, or research, enables further production above and beyond what's currently produced... they are growth making...

More Tsunami evacuation fun...
In Huia (west auckland) the Tsunami evacuation signs and sirens went in a few months after the boxing day Tsunami a few years back (like most places, I expect?).
They, quite sensibly, guide you inland from the sea, along a ~1km flat to go up the face of a water-supply dam, that must be at least 50m high and has a road up it and plenty of parking at the top. (The Lower Huia dam a wide earth dam and unlikely to be damaged by any earthquake that contributed to a Tsunami)... in short, it was a great escape option... Until about three months later when Watercare decided to lock the gates permanently... pedestrian access only now for the last 700m. !

3 Mill seems like a lot to pay?
Two houses were removed from an area where the next door neighbors have capital values of 720 and 740 thousand dollars (courtesy auckland city's own website, I guessed 29 walters and 8 sandrignham were close enough?)... so there's half the budget blown before you've moved a house or turned a sod...

Or sham-pagne… or is that just for the really nasty ones that are not “méthode traditionnelle”? :)

Exactly...
I'm sure that for low/medium priced items that are purchased frequently (bread/bus tickets/beer, etc.) a boycott would have to affect actual sales to have an effect... but for high-medium and big-ticket items that are only purchased once every few years or decade like white-ware, TV's and cars.... just talking about it affecting a future purchase decision is enough... they'll react whether you were actually considering a purchase or not, They wont wait for a measurable drop in sales, and they wont evaluate the size of the wallet of the person writing in to tell them of their concerns...
