I can’t shake the suspicion that kookaburras, like puffins, and like chipmunks, were designed by Disney
Well, they are definitely the loony tunes in my backyard.
nice to see that the Hills
(Hoist) is alive with music…Thanks Ian, he was laughing at my dirndl!
I love Sophie's shots of birds on the wing... but my camera really is not good with the fleet of wing.
The whole family, jigging in the rigging.

If you like that sort of thing.
I'd be up for it with a very special cheese at this point in time... migrating away from the meat.

It being the season here, I wonder if anyone has any Feijoa recipes and photos? ;-)
well, um, yeah as you know I have a few...
What do you do with them: stew/bake/saute in butter?
You might be surprised! I have a confession about an obsession... http://feijoafeijoa.wordpress.com

Don't some cameras have a pinhole mode? Anyone using that with much success?
Have to say I would love to join in (not that I can get to the workshop or have a darkroom, come to think of it) but it would be great to make a pinhole camera.
I'm tempted by these paper cameras but might end up with a hole in the DLSR body cap too!
