Capture: Going Walkabout in Sydney, in reply to
more sophisticated Wellington with a funky edge
Spot on, and with lashings of European styling. It probably don't matter too much if you're just visiting... hotels, lane ways, funky bars, holes in the wall, tram rides, galleries, shopping, fantastic food... who cares about the weather. It's that four seasons in one day thing those crowdies wrote about... random weather all over the shop. I just need seasons seguing nicely. The solution is to layer... layer more heavily in winter than summer, but layer. That said, summers can be sweaty... I'd go at a slightly cooler time.

As above.
Is that, um, the $27,000 sofa in question?
Hebe, Melbourne is fantastic minus the weather. I lived there for three years, adored everything, except the weather.

Well done JP.. glad I could take a peek from over here... interesting debate which my flu brain has prevented me entering... I've been of the thought train that accreditation is everything even if asking is not... don't let it free in the interwebs if you don't want it nicked kind of thing! Stuff to think about but I do have more respect for ugly watermarks now.
There's a great article some place about the Feds tracking a hacking criminal via the metadata in a photo he'd posted ...one day that technology could be used to track all your photos on the web - virtual microchipping.
And I always wondered what happened to the lovely Sarah D... she used to edit my work. In good company!

Our sticking point
Or stinking point?
That is a lot of acetic acid.
I once helped use an old press plate camera (larger than a car) to make large scale film negs... felt like Ansel Adams hehe - tricky but worth the effort.

Trashcam photography with wheelie bins... another level of pinhole photography. For those with the bug perhaps??

Great stuff you two. My efforts are so bad they are not worth posting. Obviously I am lacking fundamental skills in creating a pinhole... which is ludicrous and frustrating. Have tried thin aluminium, electrical foil and various other things around here, but can't get past the excessive blurriness. Might try to find the copper shim. Would like to create one decent shot, to justify the shiny new hole in the body cap.
All takes me back to my days at ATL browsing through those early photographs.
