Just spent the last few days flogging around Central Otago on a bike.
That sounds so wonderful.
Otago Rail Trail is vaguely on the agenda for us with Kerry & Si one March in the next few years. You and Fi would be welcome to jump in with us if you wanted.
Having to book a year ahead might be our biggest stumbling block :)

I'm still hoping that we may see more hand-pumped cask-conditioned real ale in Wellington in the future.
If you're ever in Nelson check out the hand-pumped Townshend ESB or Cathcart NTA at the Freehouse on Collingwood Street. A gorgeous drop, lovingly delivered. Or you can get out into the countryside and try it at their pub in Upper Moutere with a beautiful view out over the Mt Arthur range.

I found a tracklisting on t'Internet:
That's the one. 15 essential tunes + Zones. :)

One of the best things about Nelson this summer has been the ever growing Nelson real ale pub crawl. If you start at the organic Founders Brewery in Nelson you can move on to The Freehouse with any number of great beers and probably some Clash or ska on the stereo. Carry on out via the Abbey in Appleby to the Golden Bear in Mapua where Jim and Anne specialise in grunty American APA's. A quick dash into Monkey Wizard in Riwaka before a swim at Kaiteriteri beach then you're on the homeward stretch. Stop off and sample some of Martin Towshend's fine hand-pumped ESB at the Upper Moutere Tavern before finishing with a couple of cold ones at the Sprig & Fern in Brightwater and a very short stagger back to mine.
Proper civilised it is...

I owe you a fish, sir.
Harsh... :)

It's the compilation album with the Ramones and Undertones on innit? Or was it a soundtrack?

Is that a goat-throw?
Damn right it is.

Will I be hauled through the streets and battered to death with tire jacks if I say that AC/DC are truly awful?
I doubt it, it's hardly a radical perspective.
I'm not a metal fan but I think ACDC were a bit of big dumb fun back in the Bon Scott days. They should have called it quits like Led Zep when he died though, instead of bringing in that ear-gratingly awful Geordie to replace him.
No metal band can beat Motorhead for the non-metal fan though of course.

Jeez guys, just have one of these over the road from your front gate and you never have to worry... except about your waistline...

And then we played it for the party, and they went danced like crazy, and I felt smug.
Heh, P-Money played it here in Nelson at Summer Six a week ago and the small ripped right into it. Great tune.
