It doesn't matter what anyone thinks of Stephen Donald, he's all we've got. Personally, I'm hoping that we get better conditions this Saturday night, control the ball at the breakdown much better and that Donald, with a bit of space gets to play a blinder. Amazing what a little confidence can do.
As to JoRo, I thought he looked eager on Saturday night but was basically pretty poor.

You don't happen to have two free tickets to the Ghostface Killah show tomorrow night, do you Russell? :)
Sorry. I think we might not be the core audience for the promoters of that show
Offended!

Hey, at least we're not peaking between World Cups.

According to that list I'm only 80% manly :( but I plan never to bleed brakes or change an oil filter in my life. Happy for my local garage to do that and I'll gladly pay them.
But surely there's only one over-riding thing you you need to know to be a man.
1. Don't be a dick

It seems to me that ego and hubris from Man Utd played the biggest part in this final. Fergie should've learned from the Chelsea game that the way to play Barca was by strangling them. Chelsea were within a gnat's pube of making it to the final because of the way they played over the two legs.
But Fergie thought they could win it in style with an all out Blitzkreig on the Barca box (just like the Arsenal 2nd leg) and they paid the price big time. Guardiola probably couldn't believe his luck when he saw the wide open plains of the Man U midfield beckoning to his side.
But that's the great thing about footie, anyone can win in the big games, just don't believe what the media are saying.

You're on fire this week Mr Brown, keep 'em coming.
I can recommend some of the brilliant High Contrast remixes of The Streets on hypem as well.

Nah, Steve Braunias is a West Ham fan, he'd be more likely to blow his own head off than someone elses. Lydon's 'No Future' makes more sense though.

Alice Cooper used to covertly play golf in the '70s due to the prejudice against golf in the world of rock. Thought it might also have had something to do with his golf mate being David Cassidy.
A golf game in the seventies with a pre-sober Alice and David Cassidy would be big fun. If Iggy could've been persuaded to come along as well it would be perfect.

It was very cool and we all enjoyed it. I thought Whedon - Firefly several times as well.
I particular liked the warp speed jumps, the whole cinema boomphed when they kicked it.
And we may have turned our 10 yr old into a Trekkie. He's been wandering around the house ever since doing the whole 'Live long and prosper' with the fingers thing.
