couldn't quite see it on the fuzzy projector, but it seemed to me that in the survey of internet heavy-users' viewing habits, the answers available to the question "if you're watching less TV now, what are you doing with your time?" only included options such as using the internet, reading and gaming. Nothing that involves, you know, getting out of the house.
There was also no chance to say that we do the internets at the same time as we watches the TV. Or was this survey deliberately skewed towards boys who can only do one thing at once? Heh.

Have a nice time folks, and I'll see y'all in a month's time.
You're not the one for me, Rugby
You're not the one I really, really love... -
Are bowling clubs cool in Wellington?
The Wellingtonista Bowling League was - but that was ten-pin bowling - we're planning a Lawn Bowls League for the summer though.

Mark Cubey knows people in the booze industry? Whodda thunk it?
I didn't actually try the chardonnay (after the last Great Blend when I was forced by the heat to drink it), so I was complaining on behalf of my sister - who doesn't get the internet, or own a TV and who still managed to be very entertained on Thursday night, so I think that's a good demonstration of how fun the Great Blends can be.

I'm not sure if I perhaps didn't hear introductions correctly since I was sitting at the back or if perhaps I just misheard (and I'm sure that the wine had nothing to do with that, but incidently, why is there always Chardonnay and never any Reisling? Are you trying to push the Chardonnay Socialism thing really hard?) but it did seem that most people's questions for Tom Cotter were about aspects fo the TVNZ site that didn't seem to be part of his expertise/job description.

Plus in the States they like to hold back new content and big scandalous stories for their Sweeps weeks - like "OMG Marisa is a lesbian and they're like, totally pashing!"

Because I am a word nerd, I love the title of this piece.

Jackie I mean, not Sue. Silly reading two threads at once.

Aww cheers Russell, Robyn and Sue - but it's all about the endings! Youse guys will have to wait for the novel/zine to find out more.
