I was hoping for a complete homage to England's world cup performances. While the ball over the line against Germany would have been turned down, England would draw the match and then go to penalties whereupon they would actually win. The next game against Argentina would have featured a Emile Hesky hand ball into the net as England went through into the final.
It would have been so perfect...

Hey Frazer,
Can we get you to redesign the NZ drivers license?, I'm embarrassed every time I had it over to a rental car agent.

Another great Police 10-7 moment (it's carried here in Oz on one of the free to air channels - possibly for it's comedic value) was when a couple of constables accosted a graffitti 'artist'. During the questioning one of the cops starts exclaiming how talented the perp is, and how he should find a gallery to represent him. The other cop finds a bucket and scrubbing brush (from where I know not) and as it turns out the art work has been done in water based paints no one is charged.

Russell, I got a EyeTV Diversity for A$250 here in Sydney. Picks up HD in Oz, Really needs to be plugged into a roof antenna to pick up all the channels, which includes Christian TV and two "Teachers" channels. EyeTV s/w is OK, but the remote is clunky when compared to the sleek Apple remote on the new iMacs.
There's some open source s/w to integrate into FrontRow but isn't massively reliable...
If the Diversity is what you're after and it really is $400 in NZ, I'll buy it for you here and post it.

Might I nominate the Melbourne Storm, not just because of their cheatin' ways, but also because of the whining of their coach and CEO when they got caught.
On the same basis I had better put a vote behind Arsenal as well

When you see a New York Times editorial headed Let’s Hear It for New Zealand, you just have to find out what that's about. Has the Times joined the Conchords fan club?
Just to be totally off topic here I was in New York last week and was greeted at immigration with "that's one of the great countries there" on sight of the New Zealand passport, followed on later in the week by a office full of New Yorkers quoting FoTC episodes to me. All a bit surreal really ...

I'll second Yamis, all those gates and bad attitude from the staff, when I know I'm paying their wages with my rate levy, drives me crazy.
