I wonder if Sony will get full ownership of Sony/ATV now, due to loans given to Jackson over the years secured against his 1/2 of the publishing company?

If the style seems reminiscent of the Gorillaz’s videos, it should come as no surprise that director Candeland served as an animator for the Damon Albarn-fronted cartoon band, collaborating with Gorillaz artist Jamie Hewlett to create the videos for “Clint Eastwood,” “Rock the House” and “Feel Good Inc.”
And here's the trailer with gameplay footage. I've never been interested in buying a Rhythm Music game before, but this looks so beautifully and lovingly put together, I doubt I'll be able to resist when it's released Sept 9.

1982: I remember going to bed at my usual time around 8:30, but knowing Thriller was debuting at 10pm on Television Two. I was 10 years old, and managed to stay awake. I had a the family's old B&W TV in my room.
I'd managed to keep my eyes open, and was just settling in to the intro, when my folks busted me.
I made a good argument, though , because they let me watch it - I guess having no idea it was 1/2 an hour long and pretty scary.
Good times, good times. Music videos as cultural events just don't happen any more.
And here's a strange YouTube clip - James Brown, Jacko and Prince. Though Prince's bloody guitar didn't work.

I am so annoyed with EC (the person) at the moment that I'd probably be happy with the Attractions and some dude who does a killer imitation of EC (the singer). Heh.

^ Have you heard Dave Dobbyn's "Lament for the Numb" CD? Dave doesn't sound like Elvis of course, but Bruce & Pete are the rhythm section. It's an astounding album.
