So Hadyn having experienced and enjoyed 20/20 do you think you could enjoy ODIs or even Test matches?
The only ODI I've seen live was the recent one against the Windies in Wellington and that was boring. I'm planning on going on Friday to what could be a better game and to the test at the Basin, so at each point I can refine my opinion of the game.
Perhaps the most interesting thing is how worried cricket fans are that others will begin to enjoy 20/20.
If 20/20 "kills" anything it'll be mid-week ODIs (in my current opinion). At least the ones outside of the holidays.
20/20 can be played after 5pm so more people can make it after work and still not have a late night out (bring the kids!). It also makes TV rights easier to sell (hey, it might even make free-to-air)

Seconded. The BBC Friday Night Comedy podcast is a never-miss for us.
Just listened to this week's one on the bus. Much like the Ricky Gervais podcast some years back this is a mistake. You end up looking like a grinning insane person and no one goes near you (actually it might be a good idea on the bus then)

Both the IRB and NBA have a policy <i>against</i> blood testing
But if the drugs are picked up in other tests, including police tests, then it counts

Finally in a pub watching cricket. It's a sport Reebok obviously hates, how else do you explain those fugly uniforms?

Test Cricket is like Trout Mask Replica - saying you like it makes you sound more knowledgeable. I don’t do this, obviously :P
Which is interesting because since I decided to take an interest in cricket people are all like "you should've seen this game when..." etc. Which is the equivalent of "you need to listen to this album..."

I'd say that a test match is more like a symphony, with an ODI being The Beatles
Whatever you do, don't oversell it; "Yeah I dunno, I'd say cricket was like THE GREATEST BAND EVER!"
For me I think (though I may change my mind tonight) 20/20 matches would be more like Bon Jovi. Enjoyable when you sing along to the good parts but you might not want the whole album.

Yeah organisations like the IRB, NBA etc etc tend to have policies on illegal drugs of all kinds for situations just like this.
