"On Planet Key, there are no toilets. That's why Jake Starrow is full of shit." Steve Barnes.
Brilliant Steve. I bet you felt extra pleased with yourself after that outburst. Because you know that effort was your pea-sized brain operating in over-drive, stretched to full capacity.
You really hoped that Ian and Sacha and Joe and Danielle and Paul and Bart and Bart and Trevor and every other fucking intellectual snob who back-scratches each other to death on this site commented on this as another example of your searing wit didn't you Steve?
Sadly, no comments this time Steve that suggests even these sycophants were a tad embarrassed by such a childish attempt at abuse.
By the way,I'm picking your wife is really ugly Steve and you wear really bad shoes. Just an impression I've gained Steve. I bet I'm right.
But what you have achieved is me snapping and desperately wanting to give all you intellectual snobs a big dose of the truth.
A definition of Intellectual Snobbery as per Your Dictionary.
"Intellectual Snobbery applies to people who take an inflated pride in their knowledge and mental abilities.
They tend to become overly judgemental."
Bingo. A perfect summary of all you sucky-off snobs who endlessly polish each others egos on this site.
A bunch of wankers who compete along the lines of "I hate Key more than you!"... "Oh no you don't, I hate that awful person more than you ever have." etc.
But before I go, I really should thank you all.
I've genuinely never had so much fun in a long time.
And that's all due to the remarkable attention I've received.
The respect you've shown me was plainly seen in how many of you vain-glorious snobs come after me with every contribution I've made.
Ignoring my posts would have been a sign that I'm not very clever, not very articulate, not able to irritate and frustrate but hell no! Quite the opposite in fact!
Because without exception, the likes of that total fuckwit Ian or the precious Danielle or whoever took the bait each and every time.
My workmates really loved the impact I kept making. They couldn't believe what an orgy of pure intellectual snobbery I provoked.
Sorry Russell but I did try to engage without provoking at one stage after you suggested I back off a bit. But after that, you never really came down even-handedly on the abuse [latest example...Steve's lavatory-humour abuse] I took and so I decided to go along for the ride and give as good as I got.
I also look forward to tapping in after this weekend to read how you're all consoling yourselves now that you've got another three long years to tolerate with Key at the helm.
Farewell snobs, it's been a helluva ride.

  • Hard News: Vision and dumbassery,

Get the feeling that Australians are extremely grateful that comprehensive surveillance has resulted in a handful of crazed jihadists being apprehended today, allegedly planning to behead somebody.
Surveillance is there to catch baddies, not goodies.
Thankfully here, the Moment of Truth became the Moment of Farce.

  • Hard News: Vision and dumbassery,

I'm baffled too Angela. All this attention on a humble right-wing, Key fan.
Maybe its just that, I attract all this ant-rhetoric because I'm not a paid-up member of the PA Cosy-Club.
As you'll notice, I get a lot of abuse but fear of a stranger can and does provoke strange reactions at times.
The one person who appears to rise above the need to squash me is Russell. He was right to pull me up previously, but he obviously realises I simply wish to debate nowadays.
Maybe from a more conspiracy-driven angle, I suffer like the fat boy did in Golding's Lord Of the Flies ???{my memory's not great] where that dark side of human nature was exposed where any group often tends to regularly pick on the odd one out.
That's all I can come up with.

I know there are no such words as "bitter" or "cynical" or "envious" or phrases such as "chip-on -the-shoulder" on Planet Key.

My point is that personality-driven politics or government can be good or bad for democracy. Lange, Kennedy, Clark, Key…..good. Mao, Hitler, Stalin bad.
    But not all bad.

Perception but not reality Danielle. Politics are invariably personality-driven and aren't what good or bad governments are ultimately judged on.
Were the following governments ineffectual because of their big-personality leaders...eg Lange, Clark, Obama, Thatcher, Clinton, Kennedy etc etc?
I suspect backing off any attempt to table Cunliffe's strengths is in accordance with his poor ratings.

You any serious ideas on why Cunliffe would be a competent PM? That would mean putting aside your cynicism for just a short while.
    Too much to ask?

let me repeat. I don't understand Ian's lingo. Is it commonly spoken where you come from?
As I"ve repeated. I did dissect my praise for Key on Page 4 of the 2014 Methane Election topic which I suspect may have answered many of Ian's musings.
Please refer and get back to me.
