It is total fun to pretend to be a fan of the same team and say something like "Bro!!! Go [team name]! Hey don't you think they should trade [player name]?"
An American colleague insisted that he was an All Blacks fan, and wanted me to tape the entire season and send it to him. I couldn't comply (not having any recording device other than MySky), but I decided to test him by giving him a Silver Ferns T-Shirt. He wore it with pride for several days before departing for home.

Ben: me too. I actually find it truly depressing that there are so few movies for which I'm not willing to wait until the DVD is available for $1 on Tuesdays.
Pollyanna time. I find it heartening that there are so many movies to watch that I can wait until they cost $1.

Is the version shown at midnight better and more interesting that the one that will be shown for the following month?
Or the one that will come out on Sky Movies in 2 years, or Free-to-air in 3? So often recently, I'm finding that I can wait. I'm already drowning in a tidal wave of things to watch.

Heh, but there does need to be a counter-site aimed at sorting out people whose only answer to everything is "Google". Otherwise we'll start getting shopkeepers telling us to Google prices on stuff when we're in the store. Seriously, this has actually happened to me (Dick Smith, New Lynn). For these guys "Google" has become a cunning way of turning around the problem of "I don't know shit about it". Which, curiously, may tie directly to the etymology of the word, since it was a baby's answer to a very technical question.
But there's still no excuse for not Googling Watchmen.

Red Sonja: Barbarian chick who never puts out meets barbarian guy. Foreplay is extended slaughter. I saw it not so long ago, and still couldn't pay attention to the acting.

Conan is a modern art masterpiece. Nothing captures the idea of barbarity better than low production values and extremely bad acting.
