Excellent Jonathan. Thanks for putting this together, and the great intro.
Figure this is kind of a post about music, so...

What?
No Dezo Hoffman,
Kerry Brown or Murray Cammick! -
A great sampler. I have to return to Auckland to see this. The Bow Wow Wow print is surreal, doesn't look 31 years old - and those snakes in the grass are by the way absolutely free!

<sigh> I miss Lux.
Seeing The Cramps live was always a totally wild experience. Just seeing that photo makes me want to chug a bottle of cheap red straight down.

Time flies. Overheard last night at the opening:
Teenager: "Who's that?"
Parent: "Kurt Cobain"Anyway, the exhibition is great – almost too much to take in with one visit. It’s surprisingly (to me anyway) big on ‘alternative’ music. Then, once you’re done: exit through the pop-up shop.

I am totally CLAPPITY-CLAPPITY about this exhibition and hope to go more than once. Yay!
(I have a fridge magnet of that Elvis photo.)
