Lovely Jackson. We sure need something bright and natural. I can't help feeling that this spring Persephone is still in the dark with Hades though, it's going to take quite some deal to set her free again.

OK, look I know it's not a flower. But in my defence I have to say that this Dotterel's colouring is entirely Spring related, since it's in its breeding plumage.

Perfect spring plumage. Nice shot Bruce.

And Jos, your hellebores are heavenly. :-)

It’s the thought that counts. Haven’t had much time with the camera yet but here is an old shot. It sings Spring to me. And another.

It’s always spring at the Wintergarden. Though, their sign on the door of the hot house says their winter hours run till October 31st.

In the spirit of welcome splashes of colour in otherwise gloomy weather....

    Yesterday.

Today - still a tiny bit of haze in the distance, but if you squint you can just barely make out the outline of the Western Hills way off in the distance. That and the sky are a most welcome sight.

This image wings my mind straight to this classic painting,
    for some reason…*

…is that ‘sick puppy’ thread still going?

    *[edit added]
So does the abandoned Magnolia picture!
    My mind may be full!
