  • JacksonP, in reply to Gudrun Gisela,

I'm so glad you're back with more Gudrun. Last night I spent some time scanning the 34 (now 35) pages of this thread and thinking how wonderful it has been, and how much I'd like it to continue.

My involvement has been negligible, which is as it should be. My thanks again to you and Lilith for kicking it off, then carrying it on, and all other contributors also. It is something I've become very proud of, from a host's point of view.

    He says humbly.

    Fashion in the field! Fantastic.

    Carry on.

  • Lilith __, in reply to Islander,

    Thanks, Islander. :-)
I used to play the oboe, so I understand about embouchure and tired lips! Reed instruments require simultaneously squeezing the reed shut with the lips and also blowing hard through it. Difficult, but worth it for the resonant sound. :-)

David Shearer agreed with the protesters who pointed to many topics of the day regarding the closure and integration of schools in Christchurch. Cantabrians are not amused at so called consultations with the Education Ministry.
