Jai is a man of many talents, we missed him from our wheelchair rugby training sessions and wondered why he was going to Singapore. Now we know! Well done !

Finally, my folks acknowledge that I'm on the spectrum, after they dusted off my old Plunket book.
"... has had many consultations with educational psychologists etc over the years and it seems likely that some form of Aspergers is what he has. He was perhaps before the time when it was well recognised. We do know that he was not seen to be autistic. We would welcome a discussion with the Psychologist if it would be helpful. A telephone discussion could be arranged or perhaps via Facetime or Skype. We would be happy to ring the Psychologist as we have lots of included minutes on our cell phones.
There may be more information that we haven't written down here that hasn't yet come to mind. If anything does we will email it through."

…love that latest story idea with the black and white socks
it’s… Home and Hosed!
the new knee-length format
will walk well with shorts,
yet still cover extremes!
that it’s digitally manipulated,
is implicit and manifold!
run with it…
Run, Jimmy, Run!;- )
Great to see excellent work acknowledged,
and that the audience for JWAJ keeps spreading. -

Glad for you Red. You have wonderful insightful contributions here. It would seem that your parents acknowledgement is important to you so I'm glad that they have come forward. Head high is all I could offer . Oh and have a great day :)
Congrats to Jai and Jim too -
Hebe,

It was a brilliant doco, and this award is really well-deserved!

Funny that such a short film can capture me and compel me to watch to the end. So many levels. Great and I will look at my sock collection with more respect!

Oh, that is good news. Nice one.

And what makes the result even more pleasing is the way he went about his work, which he explains here:
And it’s really nice to get a peek behind that curtain, because in my not all humble opinion film editors have a massive influence on how, or even if, films work and it’s one of those things you shouldn't notice unless it’s done really badly.

That's great news. And I know that piece was a big inspiration to other people on the spectrum (my brother included).
