  • Hard News: So far from trivial,

They said "up to" 6 hours

I'm not despuiting the crapness of leaving any victim of a beating you've just administer unattended on the floor for any amount of time. What I'm noting is the abysmal standaqrd of what passes for reporting and news.
"up to 6 hours", what kind of a statement is that? who are they getting this info from,
as I said earlier, police report, court documents, veitch's own lips, powell's own lips,
I don't want to ever hear anything out of holmes' mouth again,
The hearld can top pretending to be news and resize themselves to a tabloid and write fiction above most of the stories it applies to. I'm just glad I didn't fork out real money for that paper. then I would have been ripped off twice.

so if its a midnight tripto the hospital, and she was on the floor for 6 hrs and they argued for 2 hrs then that's a dinner time round about 4pm. these media types sure do keep strange eating hours.

  • Hard News: So far from trivial,

now that it seems he threw her down some stairs, went down the bottom, kicked the hell out of her and then left her there for 6 hours unconscious I feel much better. I thought he'd done something really bad, but it was clearly just a spur of the moment thing where he made a bad decision for 21,600 seconds.

not wanting to question "unknown unnamed source" or why I shouldn't take everything written in the paper as absolute fact lets work a time line shall we. it may add up.

3 hrs in hospital before he went to his radio job. (anyone knows when that starts?)
6 hrs in unconscious down stairs.
30 mins approx to take her to hospital
    2 hrs arguing
xx mins to eat a dinner?
    arrived at what time?

re holmes interview, what kinds of questions doe she call those. who wrote it up. did he really ask those questions in that order?
asking about the guys career prospects before anything else? now that's in black and white and can be commented on directly.

A source said Veitch threw Kristin Dunne-Powell down a flight of stairs, then kicked her as she lay on the ground.

She passed out, and the source, who did not want to be named, said Veitch left her at the bottom of the stairs for about six hours before picking her up and taking her to hospital.

When I was saying we'd need more detail in order to assign the correct amount of hate this is the sort of thing I was talking about, although I would probably have preferred it to come from someone named veitch or powell, or "court records", or "police report" and not someone called source who also does not wish to be named.
I don't know why I don't trust the media to get anything right any more, is it the stage photos and constantly fucking things up.
I resent having to write 'if this is true' before every comment on a media report, but 'if this is true' doesn't that bring in levels of thought well past 'lashing out'©

Is 32 pages of comments a record on here?

no I've got one running at 34, so I think we should wind this discussion up. veitch bad, humans must try harder, money can't by happiness. phew, glad we sorted that one out.
