OH MY GOD. There is so much trying to come out of my mind onto the page that I have a mental glut. A *glut* I say!

You clearly have not be re-organised, reviewed, restructured or shunted into masses of mystifying 'metrics' nearly enough.
I mean a good, *constructive* difference. :)
(I recall at my last job a manager wrote what they called 'a matrix' describing some way in which we were all to do something. You know what a 'matrix' is in managerialism? A fucking Microsoft Word *table*, is what it is. I despair.)

But management doesn't 'produce' anything! Except unreadable reports with too many bullet points, and endless meetings that make all their staff immediately narcoleptic. :)
You're just bitter 'cause Elmo gets the chicks.
Dude, Bert and Ernie are where it's at. But I don't think they're that into the chicks...

I bags the cookie monster - what a life.
Here is where I do my semi-regular rant about poor Cookie Monster now being forced to sing 'cookies are a sometimes food'. He's fucking COOKIE MONSTER. What's with him giving us responsible diet tips? (Ahem. Peter Ashby isn't still here, is he?)
Funnily enough they're the ones who get blamed any time the righties talk about "productivity" - perhaps you've outed management's chum's as secret commies.
Well, that whole debate's just a big circle-jerk, isn't it? If you slashed management numbers and hired more plebs (at better wages) I imagine there'd be quite a lot of extra productivity at the widget factory.

No, Elmo is the true evil. That little fucker needs to go down.

Poor quality management and governance is a major reason for our nation's low productivity.
<commie> I don't see how managers make that much difference. The workers are the ones who, like, do shit. </commie>

Does anyone feel a little sad looking at Roger Douglas...?
I'm sad that he's still thrust in front of my unwilling eyeballs periodically, if that's what you mean.

I must protest! Gherkins are awesome, and New Zealand sausages are generally awful.
-
But no doubt not allowing you to jump ahead of them in the queue to leave the child in the car for a shorter time?
Oh no no NO, Kyle. You must *comment annoyingly*, but never actually do anything to *help*. Because that way lies anarchy and madness!

There's a big difference between 'being an annoying busybody' and 'OMG that kid/dog/older lady is going to die', though. So the examples you give are more on the 'mind your own damn business, bossy parents' end of the scale - at least, that's how I'd react.
