Putting aside the fact that Sensing Murder is a pile of shit, and the people who promote it as 'documentary' or 'factual' programming should be sent to compulsory adult literacy classes...
To be fair they have classed it "entertainment" and not "documentary/factual". Which probably means that even the producers know it's a pile of horse-hockey.
However, I imagine that despite it's "shitness", it would rate pretty highly.
Coleman made mention of the fact that under National TVNZ would have to make ratings data available, and I have to say I like that. (as sad as it would make me)

I thought it was a real company in a fake ad. Why? Because their name came up.
When something's written down for some reason it becomes that little bit more truthful (seeming). Last night i saw the Telecom ad and then a minute or so later there was an ad for charitable donations to scientists*. The scientists were all named via captions and I thought, "well that must be who they are... wait a minute! I'm not getting scammed again. Nice try Saatchi"
*which obviously made a HUGE impression because I can't remember what exactly it was for -
I’d have thought it’s pretty hard for TVNZ to run the “It’s not OK” ads just before or after the sports ads now.
I think it'd be hard for them not to run the ads. Russell says "it's not ok" and then, cue Veitch.
But just so you know we won't be mentioning Vietch on the Dropkicks, for similar reasons to why we didn't mention the English rape allegations: the podcast is meant to be fun and those issues ar too serious to made fun of.
Prime shud get a nomination for "Grass ROOTS Rugby"
Quite literally "dicks". Or so they say.

It's surely not THAT big a deal?
The German guy at my coffeeshop gave us a laugh mimicking the news helicopters we could hear flying overhead.
"Thank GOD!" as he clutched an imaginary camera, hanging onto the side of an imaginary helicopter "something is happening in New Zealand!" -
Sorry that was supposed to be a question: Is it actually?

the simply gorgeous new record from The Watson Twins
Is it actually, their last album (not the one with Jenny Lewis) was very forgettable. Nice, but forgettable.

"Beckham leaves field with broken wrist, silly haircut"
Niiice, Beckham would be the male equivalent of Sharapova. He is the only sportsperson who shows up on E! -
Making it "stop" is real easy, all you have to do is buy out Maria Sharapova's contracts with Tiffany, Sony-Ericsson, TAG-Heuer, Parlux, Land-rover, Colgate that like to portray her as appealingly good looking.
And there are no endorsements of that type at all for the male players? Like Raphael "I don't need sleeves" Nadal.
Jimmy Cowan is, by the sound of it, a young man with a problem, who has been punished.
He was punished? A $3,000 fine, playing off the bench, and not being allowed to drink is punishment? (Not to mention that none of the team will be allowed to drink anything from last night onwards anyway.)

I suppose I should vote: Gimelstob.
However, Cowan + the All Black management as a package would win. For example why was Cowan allowed to attend the Prime Minister's reception last night? Shouldn't he be made to sit in the hotel alone (with the minibar locked shut).

This was, after all, the third time this kind of thing has happened, and he was on remand for the second incident.
I wasn't sure if I was allowed to mention the third incident due to legal, um, things? (where's Graeme Edgeler when you need him?)
I don't buy the role model thing either
Except you take Cowan out to a school and the kids will clamour for his autograph*, then later on see him on the news and put two and two together.
And down south they must love him.
*though they may think he's Andy Ellis
