It's as if Ibsen wrote comedies about getting what you want and discovering it's impossible for you to be happy because you've been completely pickled in bile.
This reminds me of someone I've sort of 'known' as part of the same community on Teh Internets for about ten years. He's spent a decade backing the wrong horse in US elections, ranting and raving about 'Rethuglicans' - someone Craig might actually be justified in terming 'the loony left'. Finally, last year, he picked a winner in Obama, spending months telling us all that Obama would be the leader of a radical reform movement and change the world immediately he was elected. Obama was The One!
After the election, he suddenly went silent for a few months. Two weeks ago he returned with an absolute vengeance as... a 9/11 'Truther' and conspiracy theorist about the One World Order of Which Obama is a Pawn. It's like he was mentally incapable of adjusting to being on the winning side. It was a truly amazing turnaround.

I would 'headdesk', but given the prevalence of this kind of arrogant stupidity, my head would be permanently affixed to the desk and I'd find it difficult to get any work done.

I find with Singstar that the tune is almost irrelevant, because timing is everything. You tend to get marked down for getting carried away. Hrmph!
