Yeeeshh, a new damn benchmark; my parents will be at me now!
Just tell them that YouTube is only for trained media professionals or something. ;)
Back at you. When you're sleeping, I'm mentally singing it, and when you wake up, I can finally get to sleep. Your shift now!
Thank god someone else is shouldering this burden! I might be (even more) loopy otherwise.

Doesn't the "h" attach to the "w" in whanganui, rather than the "a"?
Thank the dear sweet lord: I finally get the Lhaws joke. I was keeping my obtuseness on the DL for weeks ('open your mouth and remove all doubt', etc), hoping that something would make it clear to me. Yay.

Not that easy in a library, surely. :)
Once, I was shushed by a library patron. :)

even if it's not my type of music
That song has been one of the most persistent earworms of my life, too. It's scary how much I've mentally sung it this week.
Jolisa, I updated all the software on my mother's ancient computer just so I could make her watch that clip. It took ages. It was worth it in the end, though, because my mum was thrilled. :)

I absolutely understand you desiring a seat where you can get a decent view of a concert you've paid for
Think of the shorties, people. Any flat-floored show means that I almost *never* get a decent view of a concert I've paid for. At The Kills I spent the first ten songs listening to the band without ever catching a glimpse of them in the flesh. The number of six foot tall dudes ahead of me, stretching to the stage in a long impregnable line, was absolutely uncanny. If I were a tinfoil-hat-wearer I would have been calling for an investigation of the conspiracy.
(Um, I babble when things get tense, in case anyone was wondering.)

I'm pretty down with funky chair-dancing, actually. Particularly on the top floor of the St James, which always made me a bit woozy. So high! So steep!

Thus loosening the ceiling plaster that fell in large chunks at later gigs? I miss that place.
It's an absolutely lovely theatre with gorgeous detailing. I wish Those In Charge would pull their heads out of their asses and refurbish it. What's the latest plan, anyway? Closed forever, soon to be demolished?

So hang on. All you semioticians are making me concerned.
Me bawling at the clip: OK? Or not OK (TM)?

If I believed in such things as 'The End Times', Paul Holmes being a vessel for the Word of God would surely be a sign of them. Just... WTF, dude?
(Also, hi Brent. I didn't know you read PAS. I thought listening to me ranting about it on a daily basis would have put you off. :) )

Mind you, wouldn't you expect either the hungry media or his advisors to have provided evidence of any leaking by Dunne-Powell?
I'm sure she's had professional advice all along too. I just think hers was a lot better than his: her people seem to have said 'STFU until court, and keep calm in your appearances afterwards'. I don't think she's leaked squat to the media either - surely they would have been all over it if she had?
