I thought "that's about as daft as I expected" at the end of the finale, but the more I thought about it the more I like it.
A convergance of the timelines would have been way too contrived and left way more questions.
We played a game on my favourite messageboard to guess who would get off the island alive. The most anyone picked was 2 (out of 6), so at least it wasn't predictable. I only thought 3 would escape (Frank, Kate, Hurley). Should have realised there would be 6 leaving the island (again).
Juliet's "It worked" can now be seen to be her becoming aware of the afterlife as she died, but misconstruing what she was seeing.
But she actually said that in the sidetime when Sawyer unplugged the vending machine and plugged it back in again and his stuck candy bar popped out. Another sly 'Nelson Ha-ha' to the fans who have been speculating on that line since Juliet's death.
Also, Desmond & Jack 'got their snack-bar' by unplugging the island and plugging it back again. Cute.

Well, I caught the end of Rahderahderah. Won't be catching the start, middle or end in future. 7 Days delivered, as usual (though that 'year recap' last week was a bit of a missfire).
And my lovely auntie in america urgently fed-ex'd me a vhs of Community episodes. Wife and I haven't laughed so hard in ages (my eyes were sore from the tears by the end of ep3). I think it may be the first time I've ever laughed at Chevy Chase.
Hard to believe people saying it's improved as time has gone on. Can't wait to get kids into bed tonight, open a bottle of red and resume watching.

I might see if I can acquire a VHS of Community from my Auntie in the USA.

Bugger. I used to time my Friday drive to work around this. Mikey's rejoinders were often classic.
And I would time the kid's school run with it too. Maybe you could talk to Mikey on Friday Drive if Matt Heath doesn't want it. Even a pre-record if the timing's bad for you?
Strange Matt not having you on, considering the amount of regular talking guests he does have (that seem to take quite a long time to say not a hell of a lot).

Speaking of this sort of thing... anyone know when Fringe is set to return to NZ broadcast TV?
And if "Community" is going to air here, I need another good US sitcom, and have only heard good things about this show.
US Office has lost me, Modern Family is superb and 30 Rock has become less consistently brilliant.
