What possible purpose could a Coroner's inquest do in the Bain case?
Well, depending on if it came back with 'murder' or 'suicide' for Robin Bain.... it could give a very strong indication to the public at large whether "not guilty' should be interpreted as 'evidence not conclusive enough' or 'innocent'.

Um, there were just on 3 million people enrolled to vote in 2008, and turnout was 79.5%. Now if that could have been boosted by 4.7% to 84.2%, that would have been a truckload more people voting.
There's another flaw to the numbers,
Due to limitations of the technology. you cant receive a text message if you dont have a cell-phone. :)
But yes, cost effective methods of increasing the turn-out in ways that dont favour one party over another have got to be worthwhile.

I guess a nearby attraction to your target will get a certain number of the punters you are aiming for... but it will get far more that cant help you, no? -

We call em "markers", they call em "texters". Lord knows why.
They actually call one a texta, and textas is plural.... for exactly the same reason someone in NZ might say "Vivid" or "Sharpie" instead of "marker". It is a brand name.

Well, being a pleb, I havent heard the rumors and allegations.....
But let's just go back a few pages to that accusation which we now know to be not related to Mr Worth's demise....
"The allegation, which was put to me by a second 'Watercare Whistleblower' was that it was Richard Worth's daughter, who three years ago had an uncontested contract working for Watercare for three months.
The potential conflict of interest here, (if the allegation is true), is that work on the legislative changes involving Watercare Services Ltd was carried out by the Department of Internal Affairs - for which Richard Worth WAS the Minister."

And so am I... so who's the last?
Actually, I think it might have been a little more than 3.... although it's decided on artistic merit, not sales, he got a silver scroll award for Belle Of The Ball (iirc). so presumably it was slightly well known?
