Forced to stay inside, with nothing but a computer to look at. What will I do all day?
Hacking monsters to bits would be a good start. Although there was a particularly infamous incident on there a few years back.

On a geekier than geek note, my night elf warrior has just aced the Deadmines Dungeon - solo.

An ethnic* Marie Antoinette. Who could ask for more?
(*) I can produce pictures of how deeply my tongue was embedded in my cheek as I was typing that.Sounds like what sceptics of affirmative action like to call the "model minority" stereotype. From my own experiences as a multi-gen Chiwi, the aforementioned stereotype is a heap of bullshit. It's been fisked to death by various researchers - maybe Keith Ng has some wisdom here - and it was severely tested during LA92.

Tom:
I prefer "suburbanality" myself.
How about "Suburbistan?"

What I find specially repulsive are people who claim to believe in the "sanctity of life" -- just not the lives of people you hate. Oh, and don't get me started on people who oppose legal abortion but are rather keen on state-sanctioned murder of convicted criminals. There's cognitive dissonance, and there's doublethink that would leave Orwell himself goggle-eyed in disbelief.
As previously mentioned, it's political murder at best. The anti-abortion/pro-death penalty mix sounds contradictory at first - then again, contradiction and hypocrisy aren't words in the Dictionary of Hyper-Theocracy.

I should point out that the police put a lot of effort into trying to increase ethical and gender diversity in the police. They actively recruit Maori, Pacific Island, Asian and female police officers. Takes a long time to have that flow through an organisation when some officers have 30 year careers in the job.
And Kefeng Chu, the Police ethnic liaison officer, is well-established. In spite of these facts, the Police say there are more openings for Asian rectuits than there are applicants.
