I'm a 65 year old amputee, (left leg) 40's a good score for me.

I'm glad you specified which leg, because if it'd been the right, well, that'd be a whole 'nother story...

Thank you so much Dyan, that's a brilliant story! Did you ever comb through his lyrics to see if there were any references to you in there? And thanks also for confirming the Princess Di rumour I heard elsewhere.

a vision of nightmarish proportions that makes me wonder what else goes on inside that head of yours...

You got the zines, you don't want to know any further than that, trust me!

Oh, and Bryan Adams stalked me for a couple years, but I'm not sure if it counts as a brush with fame if you're the stalkeree.

Now there's a story I'd like to hear. Although the thought of it makes me feel a little nauseous. Especially because I'm now envisioning that he called up Rod and Sting and the three of them followed you around on segueways singing to you the whole time.

I talked to her at a party in London once. She was in the kitchen, wolfing down chocolate cake.

I'm picturing this as her in some outlandish outfit eating the whole damn cake. It's an awesome image!

    Because you've pulled?

it makes you and us look stupid

As stupid as say, logging in for the first time purely to insult someone who's got a demonstrated history of articulate intelligence?

  • Radiation: Television hell,

I often find SB to be trying just a little too hard, whereas John Oliver, Aasif Mandvi and Larry Wilmore just hit the spot for mine..

I love that Larry Wilmore gets introduced as 'Senior Black Correspondent', but it's Jason Jones's asshattery that I love the most, along with far-too-infrequent Dimitri Martin.

  • Radiation: Television hell,

Okay, I know I'm supposed to have watched the Conchords, but Skins is seriously awesome. I mean, sure that's because I'm in love with Sid who is a cross between Milhouse and Ron Weasley, but this week's episode that dealt with Cass's eating disorder was a beautiful thing. And yes, I shouldn't say 'beautiful' in relation to an eating disorder, and yes, it may have been a slight glamourisation, the way that she floated around, but it just felt so much more real than so many other shows - it wasn't all "oh gosh, I hate myself when I look in the mirror" but more a display of how she feels around food, and when she explained the way she does it to Sid, how she slips under the radar so easily, it just made me cry and cry. Yeah.

I love me some rockstar biographies (__The Dirt__ is like the greatest book ever written, apart from Geri Halliwell's If Only), so I was really disappointed in See Me Go - every single piece seemed to be like "......... and then Jordan Luck got drunk" - no matter who was writing it or the decade it was set in.

Also, the Mint Chicks didn't win? Fuck! I must owe a lot of people a lot of money on what I thought was a sure thing bet.
