Steven Colbard's rebuttal of PJ's facts on infonews.co.nz
proclaims NZ Actors Equity has excess of 400 members. Steven's source is an NZ Actors Equity national committee member which is far less transparant than AGM minutes and audit documents. -
Hobbits are very resilient. They do not succumb so easily.

hmmm am looking at the stuff.co.nz
An actor, who is not a union member, but was invited to vote
It would seem voting rights were granted to all actors in attendance and I would hope that this applied to speakig rights as well.
NZ Actors Equity president Jennifer Ward-Lealand said "while a significant number voted in favour of the resolutions, a number of performers represented alternative views and we have a duty to take their opinion into consideration".
Yet a majority vote is non binding which then leads to the danger of the democratic process being cherrypicked
Most attendees were tight-lipped when approached by media afterwards
Ha be patient there media jr. If you had any experience of unions you would know that transparency is a must because nothing stays secret for long and the juicy bits are what get talked about most.
I agree with the previously stated sentiments that this is going to get messy.

Take a ride down river in a barrel and escape those distrustful scheming elves of mirkwood

I sketch imaginary people in pen mainly. Dragons and various other animals to impress the kids but no birds recently that I can recall. No hobbits either but The Hobbit was the first big book I ever read so I have a vested interest in Jackson vs MEAA!!!

I currently work as a fully qualified Relief Teacher in South Auckland Primary Schools.
I win the kids I teach over by showing them my sketch art portfolio. Other than that I build costumes and props for friends dance performance group.
The reason you are having trouble tracking me on the net is that I had such a frustating time as President of Albany Students' Association in 2001, I fled to Asia.
In Korea I lost myself in unlimited cyberspace and would read public address to tether me too reality.
I am a professional student who enjoys community organising.
