Speaker: All aboard: The choice for…, in reply to
YAY Chris!
You're familiar with 'faux ami': my favourite in Maori is angina- (simply because it is the longest string of letters I've yet found that means something in both my languages - and doesnt translate!)
It's coming up to Matariki: I like to send appropriate gifts to people I've never met
but esteem for that celebration - would you & yours like a Matariki calendar? Please contact via the email link if so- cheers n/n Keri -
I’m 65.
I now earn very little.
I think I have contributed somewhat to – here.
‘Here’ – for me – is – ki a whenua me te whanau – I do not exist without both.
I have numerous siblings existing overseas (especially in Australia.)
They find life much easier over there (not least for substantial financial reasons.)
ANZ is the loser, because their skills would make a substantial difference here (especially in nursing.)
Nothing this current festerdom of slimy insiders’ government in ANZ is going to change matters.
I look to the young members of the whanau – who I support as much however/whenever I can – to know that – whatever career they choose to pursue, where-ever they choose to travel- *here* was the place that made & formed them – and that here is home.
And – here is where they are ultimately needed.(O- people who like wordplay might like to check out meanings of ‘here’ in both Maori & English.)

do wonder how many commentators have ever been an elected representative at any level of governmen
Yes. At very local level. And, because it was very local level, I got a really good introduction as to how the job should be done.
Be available.
Have your politics and aims well known .
Make very bloody sure you arnt beholden to any interest group except those you have publicised, pre-election. -

Many thanks Gudrun!
David is a really committed photographer - and he, and his wife Rachel (born & longbred (as in superb family lines)in Tokyo) are most hospitable folk - their restored CHCH villa has also been wrecked...Well, I am sure I will sell my home here* - but I am now starting to long for my place back in Otago- I couldnt have a Maine Coon here, but at Moeraki - and maybe a bichon frise like my mother's wee dog - and o yes indeedy! chooks! Araucanas! My brother and his family have them at The Rocks...
*I have to, before I can build round at The Native Village Reserve...
may all be well with you & yours' - a/n/n/Keri

An upper house is an abomination for the ANZ parliamentary system- we select candidates from just which group?
I totally agree with Graeme -most MPs have some kind of workforce (=ordinary work experience) but this has grown much less over the years. Time -I think- to suss out those who have really worked from the professional career-path bureacrats (who bring shit-all experience to the debating table (as we are seeing with Hekia Parata. What a tosser!) -

Not made for hills.
Nor anywhere else in ANZ except round v. flat ChChCh suburbs...
one of my brothers once made family history by running away to Oamaru (from North Beach!) on one - took him nearly a day & a half...And Jeremy Eade? You are __not__wrong!
It's a kind of crazy which doesnt afflict the dour-but-warm-heartedvengeful&cantankerous lot my Lanchashire forebears were - but sometimes I relish it... -

On an old situp&beg woman's step-through with half-chain guard too! Waua!
But - what is the contraption mounted on the front wheel?
